The first screening in Türkiye of the short film “Passengers,” directed and scripted by Res. Assist. Buğra Mert Alkayalar, from IKU Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, was held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Kadıköy Cinema within the scope of the selection of “Yıldız Cinema Festival” organized for the fifth time this year by Yıldız Technical University Yıldız Cinema Club.

After the screenings of the short films in the selection, an interview was held with the film crews. In the interview, with the actors of Res. Assist. Alkayalar's film, Muhammet Kulu, known for TV series such as “Yeşilçam” and “İnci Taneleri” and Barlas Kartal, the sources of inspiration of the film's story and the creation process of the film's atmosphere were among the main topics that the audience was curious about.
