Emin Alper, who took his place among the prominent directors of today's cinema by receiving international awards at important film festivals in Türkiye and in the world, was the guest of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. The focus of the talk held at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Tuesday, May 30, was the movie "Burning Days", which made its world premiere at the "Cannes Film Festival" in 2022 and became the center of many discussions due to the difficulties it faced during the production process as well as being a successful movie.
The panel talk was held with the participation of the Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gülce Öğrüç Ildız, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek and many academicians, students and administrative staff from different departments. In the panel talk moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Perihan Taş Öz, the Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, the participants asked many questions about Emin Alper's experience as a director and screenwriter of the movie "Burning Days".
The panel talk ended after the Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Fadime Üney Yüksektepe presented a plaque to Emin Alper.
