Master director and screenwriter Oğuzhan Tercan, who had been part of the faculty at Istanbul Kültür University for many years, was commemorated with a ceremony held with the participation of his students, colleagues and family members. Tercan, who has produced many popular films like “Uzlaşma”, “Hırsız Var!” and many commercials , has also lectured and trained countless students who have grown to be among the leading names of the sector. 

The commemoration ceremony of Tercan, who passed away in 2022, was held at Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall on Tuesday, May 23, as part of the " 4th SineKültür Interuniversity Short Film Festival" organized by IKU Department of  Radio, Television and Cinema. The students, family, friends and colleagues who attended the ceremony held after the screening of the film “Hırsız Var!” directed by Tercan honoured his memory by commemorating Oğuzhan Tercan.  The artists and the friends who could not attend the ceremony shared their feelings with the people in the hall with video messages.

The "Best Fiction Short Film Award" of the "4th SineKültür Interuniversity Short Film Festival", was presented on behalf of Oğuzhan Tercan.
