The Documentary Cinema Book, to which the academics of the Radio, Television and Cinema Department contributed with its preparation for publication and its translations, has been published. The Documentary Cinema Book that Brian Winston was the editor, is the most comprehensive quality documentary cinema books have been published so far in Turkey because of the topics it deals with and its content.

The book is a rich resource that deals with documentary cinema in relation to topics such as ethics, aesthetics and politics, and offers a wide and productive range, especially in different documentary forms. Contributors to the book are international names who have been making efforts and efforts on the documentary for a long time, producing documentaries, thinking about it, researching it, and making valuable contributions to the development and progress of this field in various ways. With a similar approach, the Turkish translation of the book was carried out mainly with the efforts of documentary filmmakers and academics.
