IKU Department of Radio, Television and Cinema was selected as a guest school to the 8th International Balkan Panorama Film Festival, which was held with cooperation of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, had Istvan Szabo on advisory board, and included world-famous directors and screenwriters such as Milcho Manchevski. Within the scope of the festival, which was hosted by Izmir between May 21-27, by organizing a special screening selection on behalf of IKU Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, the promotional and informational text of the department took part in the festival catalog. Moreover, our Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Perihan Taş Öz conducted an interview about the education policy of the departments and the films produced by the students.
