Assist. Prof. Gizem Şimşek Kaya, from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, was the guest of the "Sunny Conversations with Güneş Batum" program broadcast on the National Channel on March 23, 2024, and the "Voice of Art" program presented by Mert Erdoğan on Radio Esenler on March 28, 2024. Assist. Prof. Şimşek Kaya shared their thoughts about horror cinema and especially the current state of Turkish horror cinema in the "Sunny Conversations" program while on the "Voice of Art" program, they spoke about their book titled "Turkish Horror and Thriller Cinema in 50 Articles: Another Jinn Movie?", which they co-wrote with Alper Kaya. IKÜ faculty member also shared their insights on "Jinn" themed productions in Turkish horror cinema.
