LECTURER DR. SELDA SALMAN SAKIZLI’S ARTICLE IS PUBLISHED

The article titled “Violence, Wars, and the Possibility of Ethical Life in an Apocalypse: A Kantian Reading of The Walking Dead” of Lecturer Dr. Selda Salman Sakızlı, one of our academics from the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, is published in the special issue titled Ethics and Politics of TV Series of Open Philosophy published by De Gruyter publishing, which has a publishing history for over a hundred years.

Asst. Prof. Perihan Taş Öz, Head of Radio, Television and Cinema Department, attended the event titled "Vizyondaki Yıldızlar (Stars in the Vision)" organized by Istanbul Gelişim University Faculty of Fine Arts as a speaker. Our teacher, who came together with the students at the event held on Wednesday, December 15th, gave information about the writing and presentation of the "TV Series Film Script Project File".

LECTURER DR. SELDA SALMAN SAKIZLI'S BOOK TITLED "THE THEORY OF CINEMA" HAS BEEN PUBLISHED WITH THE CHAPTER TITLED "DELEUZE AND THE PHILOSOPHY OF CINEMA"

Lecturer Dr. Selda Salman Sakızlı, one of the academicians of Department of the Radio, Television and Cinema, has published the book titled "The Theory of Cinema" with the chapter titled "Deleuze and the Philosophy of Cinema". In the book contributed by eighteen film writers and academicians; Starting with Hugo Münsterberg, one of the first theorists of cinema, and Lev Manovich, one of today's new media theorists, and digital cinema theory, a chronological and comprehensive selection is presented.
