IKU Department of Radio, Television and Cinema organized a panel talk titled “Actor Management and Agenting in Cinema and Television.” The event, which was attended by Manager Buket Kahraman, Founder of Buket Kahraman Management, as a speaker, was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 14.00 on the 1st floor multi-purpose hall in Bakırköy campus Ataköy building. 

Buket Kahraman, who has been the manager of Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Begüm Birgören and many other famous and successful names, talked about the general functioning of the talent management profession, the work dynamics of managers in Türkiye and the ways to connect with actors. Kahraman also touched upon the processes of script review and appropriate cast selection. Stating that there is a search for qualified scripts especially in the sector, our guest emphasized the importance of the script for the entire cinema and television industry.

The talk ended after Buket Kahraman answered the questions of the participants.
