Our Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, Assoc. Prof. Perihan Taş Öz, will serve as the Head of the Organizing Committee and facilitator of the "Cinema Workshop" to be held within the scope of the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

In the workshop to be held within the scope of the festival, which will be held between 5-12 October 2024, basic problems related to the creation, production, and distribution process of cinema films will be discussed in nine sessions spread over three days. The working groups, which will consist of academics and vocational professionals, as well as relevant ministries, associations, foundations, professional unions and union components, will discuss the relevant topics in a total of nine sessions, each lasting three hours, and sign the final declarations.The final declarations of the workshop will be published in digital and hard copies after the festival and will be shared with the components of cinema life and relevant institutions. This declaration is aimed to guide for the institutionalization of the cinema field in Türkiye, solving the problems in the sector and strengthening the relations between the sector components and the academy.
